Georgetown University’s MBA   is part of the McDonough School of Business, which was founded in 1936 as  an undergraduate program in the School of Foreign Service. Georgetown launched the MBA program in 1981, and coursework was created by incorporating business-government relations, ethics, international business, and communications.  Georgetown University  is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. program overview

In the first semester, full-time and flexible  MBA  students take 36 credits of core courses that vary in their approach to business. They then complete the final 24 credits of the curriculum, choosing from more than 100 elective courses. Georgetown builds its curriculum in such a way that graduates become leaders and developed individuals. Courses such as Leading Teams for Performance and Impact (LTPI) and Structure of Global Industries (SGI) are core core courses. Elective courses last one to two weeks and will allow students to explore topics outside of their typical MBA curriculum, such as data visualization, startup factory, Six Sigma, national security, etc.

Full-time MBA  : The Full-time MBA is a 21-month program.

Flex MBA  : The Flex MBA is a 28-60 month program.

Admission requirements

  • Three or four year bachelor’s degree with a B+ average or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • 550 GMAT with a minimum of 50th percentile in the quantitative and verbal sections of the test – 155 GRE scores in both the verbal and quantitative sections. These points must be valid and earned within the last 5 years.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time work experience following completion of a bachelor’s degree.
